The book Systemic Transitions in World Trade and Their Energy Market Repercussions, focusing on structural changes in the global trade system and their implications for energy markets, was published in 2025 by Liberty Publishing House in New York, in collaboration with İKSAD Publishing House in Turkey.
 

The first chapter of this book, entitled Transformation of the Global Trade System and Its Impact on Energy Markets, was co-authored by Dr. Tohid Asadi, faculty member of the Faculty of World Studies, and Alireza Pirverdizadeh, Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Indian Studies. This chapter analyzes the emergence of “Green Protectionism” in the era of energy transition, highlighting how new trade policies—particularly in developed countries—can exacerbate the gap in access to clean technologies for the Global South.
