Ms. Mina Otadi, a PhD student in Russian Studies at the Faculty of World Studies, University of Tehran, participated as the official representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the SCO Youth Digital Forum. The event was held on June 4–5, 2026, in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The forum brought together high-level officials and representatives from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Belarus, providing a platform for dialogue and exchange on youth-related issues and emerging technologies.

Ms. Otadi delivered her remarks at the specialized panel titled “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies for Youth in SCO Member States,” held on the first day of the forum. The panel addressed key topics such as digital policymaking, governance of emerging technologies, and the role of youth in fostering regional cooperation.

On the sidelines of the event, she also visited the State Museum of Kyrgyzstan and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bishkek, gaining further insight into the country’s cultural heritage and strengthening international engagement.

Her active participation in this international forum reflects the academic capabilities of Iranian students and highlights the dynamic presence of the Faculty of World Studies in regional and international arenas, particularly in Eurasian studies.
