This timely account explores the unique character and life of one of the most prominent leaders of the contemporary world—a rare look into the journey and accomplishments of a figure who embodies civilizational leadership and stands as a symbol of resistance against the global hegemonic order.

The book is being published at a moment when Ayatollah Khamenei is at the helm of Iran’s passionate resistance against hostile Western powers—chiefly the United States and the Zionist regime of Israel—which seek to expand their dominance in West Asia and beyond. This release coincides with a time of profound regional upheaval, including the mass killing of civilians in Gaza and the military assault on Iran on June 12, an operation that ended within 12 days in a resounding victory for the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Authored by Dr. Saeed Reza Ameli, Dean of the Faculty of World Studies at the University of Tehran and Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair on Cyberspace and Culture, this book presents a deep and scholarly exploration of the life and intellectual evolution of Ayatollah Khamenei—from his birth, through his scholarly achievements, to his emergence as an intellectual, political activist, and a member of the Council of the Islamic Revolution following the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.
